Letter to Bolivia – Mucho Más – Verse 3 and 4

Dear Bolivia,

You are beautiful, radiant, full of life and positive energy, ready to infect the world with creativity and awe. Though it seems that you still don’t see yourself as I do.

A wise man once said, “Let the weak say I am strong,” and so I say to you; stand up and confess, “I am not poor, I am generous”. This may be hard to hear, but your poverty is self-inflicted. Stop looking at what you don’t have and be thankful for what you do have. Stop looking for what you can get from others and consider what you can give. I am telling you that seed is given to the sower.

I’m not asking you to deny the facts. I won’t tell you to just ignore the pain. It’s real, it happened, it hurts. However, I am asking you to come up here and look from above and no longer from beneath. Stop seeing yourself as the victim. Your crisis is an opportunity. Your pain is an obstacle. You are an overcomer.

Please, stop believing the lies that you aren’t creative, that your ideas are inferior to those of others. It’s true, you will never be like everyone else, and that is good. You are unique, you are different. You don’t have to pirate the designs of others. You are creative, you are innovative, let your originality shine. Don’t forget that confidence is sexy.

It’s time to invoke the spirit of excellence. Throw off the cheap ropes that have tied one arm behind your back. It’s not about quick gain, it’s about quality, and you have everything you need to be and to produce what the world is waiting for.

So again, is say, stand up, put your hands on your hips and declare the truth:

I am not poor, I am generous

I am not a victim, I am an overcomer

I am not a pirate, I am an innovator

I am not cheap, I am export quality

I am more than what they say, much more than what you think.
